News On Tyler Black To WWE

I've been asking around this afternoon regarding the status Of Tyler Black and am told WWE pursued him heavily at the end of last month and offered him a deal. Black has reportedly agreed to join the company but will fulfill his remaining dates with Ring of Honor, where he will vacate the ROH Championship.

As far as I know, a formal plan is not in place for him to drop the title but ROH officials are hoping he will be available for their Glory By Honor IX pay-per-view on September 11, 2010 in New York City where he has been the focal point of event advertisements.

As far as Black's scheduled with Ring of Honor is concerned, he's booked for the HDNet television tapings on August 20th and August 21 in Philadelphia. As for upcoming house shows, he's booked against ROH TV Champion Eddie Edwards on August 27th in Richmond, Virginia and against Davey Richards on August 28th in Charlotte, North Carolina.
