WWE Nexus Star Skip Sheffield: Out Up To 6 Months

We reported last week that WWE Nexus Star Skip Sheffield did indeed suffer a broken ankle at a recent house show event. The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that the injury is a compound fracture of the left ankle, and WWE Star Sheffield will need surgery as soon as the swelling subsides. The injury is expected to sideline Sheffield for 4 to 6 months, which may not bode well for the WWE Raw star in the long term, as recent reports are indicating that the Nexus storyline might be ending by October.
