The Great Khali With Wrestling School In India (Khali to establish wrestling stadium in HP )


Nahan: US-based Indian WWE Wrestler the great Khali alias Daleep Singh Rana today said a wrestling stadium would soon be established in Himachal.

Khali, who was interacting with mediapersons at Paonta Sahib this morning on way to his native village in Shilai sub-division, said he would prefer that the stadium was established in his home district of Sirmour.

He told reporters that Himachal Cricket Association president and M P Anurag Thakur from Hamirpur parliamentary constituency had talked to him for setting up a wrestling stadium in Himachal so that the state wrestlers could learn WWE srestling technique.

Appreciating the proposal, Khali said Thakur had assured of land for establishing the stadium in the hill state. When asked whether he was interested to settle in India, he said he planned to continue wrestling for next six to seven years as he was ''fully fit'' for the arduous sport.

Khali was accompanied by Chairman National Anti-terrorist front Maninder Singh Bitta and three foreign wrestlers. Khali, who has worked in Hollywood flicks, said he had received more proposals from Bollywood but would consult WWE before accepting them. He said his first Hindi movie ''Khushi'' would be released on May 14. He added that he had also acted in ''Ramma'' which is a children's adventure film.
