Dolph Ziggler The WWE Intercontinental Champion

WWE Star Dolph Ziggler def. Kofi Kingston on last night's edition of WWE Smackdown to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The match was taped at the WWE Smackdown tapings last Wednesday from Laredo, Texas and Ziggler defended the title on company's tour overseas.

Ziggler was originally scheduled to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE Breaking Point last September but WWE Star  Rey Mysterio's Wellness Policy violation ended up changing the plan for WWE Star John Morrison to win the title then Drew McIntyre. Ziggler's reign was literally more than 10 months in the making.
