WWE has tried to keep the budget of "Legendary" starring WWE Star John Cena at the $5 million mark as they have pressure from stockholders that want to see cash flows down in attempt to rebound from a poor third quarter. Expectations were not high for the film at the box office, however, company officials have to be disappointed with the abysmal performance the flick saw over the weekend.
WWE is hoping to have success with Legendary in DVD sales and rentals which has helped the balance sheet on past projects by WWE Studios. BloggingStocks.com has an interesting article on the movie now online questioning the company's strategy with the movie.
